TASK FORCE RANGER will conduct a raid of a building deep within militia controlled territory. The objective of the raid is to capture two high value individuals. Ranger Chalks 1 through 4 will secure the exterior of the target building as Delta personnel assault the target building.
WARFIGHTER: SOMALIA features four different missions that will test individual and team tactics. These missions are based upon the real experiences of TASK FORCE RANGER during the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu. All missions will feature the use of airsoft weapons, vehicles, pyrotechnics and special effects.
A Black Hawk helicopter, call sign Super 61, has crashed about half a mile from the target building. TASK FORCE RANGER personnel are instructed to move to the crash site and secure it from being overrun by Somali militia.
A convoy of vehicles attempts to navigate the dangerous streets of Mogadishu to reach the crash site of Super 61. The soldiers of TASK FORCE RANGER must dismount and secure the areas as the trucks run into road blocks after road block.
Mission 4: The Mogadishu Mile
All members of TASK FORCE RANGER will secure a number of buildings near the crash site of Super 61 awaiting a rescue convoy of multinational forces. Once the wounded are loaded into the convoy the Task Force will extract by vehicle to a safe zone. Unfortunately due to poor communication and planning a squad of Rangers and Delta is forced to extract by foot to the safe zone.
